The Flyway Festival Walk plans are going well. Howard had been in contact with Myrna Hayes and he is working on the routes. He may have a manned checkpoint at the Golf Course.
1. The location of the Mare Island Flyway Festival has been changed due the presence of asbestos at the original location. The location is Bldg 223 at the corner of Connolly and Walnut Streets. The Flyway Festival will provide signs with the correct location for the new location at the old location, and possibly a porta pottie. We will probably use the old location as the check point.

A. Item to be considered at AVA Executive Council Meeting. Our Regional Director, Bruce McDevitt, is asking the Pacific Region Clubs what they think of the proposal to allow Event Credit to be awarded each time a walker does a particular YRE, instead of only twice a year. The thought is that this may encourage walkers to walk Year Round Events more often. An informal vote of this issue was taken by the member's present. The members did not think it is a good idea.
